General Description:
As Director, Marketing, you will be responsible for leading the strategy and growth of a portfolio of iconic and new ready to eat cereal brands for Post Consumer Brands Canada. This includes leading the strategic development and execution of integrated communication plans, P&L management, as well as the coaching and development of a high performing team.

In your role as Director, Marketing you will be part of our success by:
• Strategic Planning: Lead Cross Functional Business Team plans to achieve brands' business goals (revenue, share, profit.)
 Lead brand managers to develop the brand strategy and brand growth plans through marketing activation, cross-functional team leadership, and innovation.
 Responsible for the annual and monthly volume forecast recommendation
 Participate in development of consumer learning plan
 Lead pricing work
 Identify areas where business analysis is needed to inform plans
 Develop contingency plans to address share, volume, and profit effects of marketplace changes
 Lead annual business planning and long-range business plans.
• Communication: Lead the development and execution of highly effective integrated brand engagement (marketing communication) programs, that leverage a deep understanding of the consumer to create a competitive advantage and build consumer value
 Development and management of brand positioning and advertising
 Ensuring communication plans (advertising, PR, digital, experiential) are executed with excellence and on budget
 Participate in creative strategy development with agency and guide creative look/feel
 Understanding marketing efficiency and effectiveness to optimize and enhance plans
• Innovation: participate in new product initiatives to meet business goals
 Work with the Innovation lead to develop 3-year innovation agenda and new product pipeline
 Validate and launch innovation with excellence

• People Leadership: Build a world class marketing organization by developing the skills of direct reports
 Guiding the development of direct reports, including direction on primary projects, continuous feedback and career guidance
 Strengthening the marketing organization and culture. Actively contributing to improving Post Consumer Brands culture and organization’s effectiveness

As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Marketing, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or other related degree – MBA preferred
• Minimum of 10+ years in marketing management of consumer packaged goods
• Marketing expertise across diverse consumer channels (paid, owned, earned)
• Experience working with and managing external agencies
• Strong leadership skills
• Experience managing direct reports
• Ability to influence and inspire marketing and cross functional peers and senior leaders by generating and implementing new ideas
• Demonstrated experience influencing Senior Executives
• Analytics experience; translating data into meaningful, actionable insights
• Entrepreneur spirit for developing the position and engaging the marketing/sales organizations
• Desire and ability to work in an ever-changing fast-paced environment with many stakeholders
