As an Account Manager - Albertson's, you will report to the Team Lead supporting Post Consumer Brands Albertson’s businesses. The Account Manager will manage all aspects of the everyday responsibilities of servicing PCB’s RTE and Hot cereal business at Albertson’s Intermountain and Denver Divisions, with the goal of creating "Win / Win" opportunities to grow our collaborative business. Effective time management, building and fostering key customer and internal relationships, along with planning/organizing will be required to be successful.
This position is based in Boise, ID.
Major Job Activities:
1.Direct call on Albertson’s Intermountain and Denver Divisions.
2.Meet or exceed sales targets and stay within allocated trade budget.
3.Develop and implement merchandising programs that maximize profitable growth and meets the needs of both Albertson’s and Post Consumer Brands.
4.Sell merchandising & distribution plans that maximizes product mix, ensures correct placement, compliance with price points and maximizes promotional opportunities. Conduct “Top to Top” meetings with Senior Post Consumer Brands and Company Executives.
5.Participate in retail activities and close retail voids.
6.Maintain coordination with internal Post Consumer Brands departments to ensure all programs, sales initiatives, issues, and questions are resolved in a timely manner.
7.Evaluate and adjust sales plans to ensure plan implementation and achievement.
8.Sell Post Consumer Brands merchandising objectives to customer. Establish working relationship with key decision makers at all levels of the organization.
9.Accurate forecasting and communication sharing with Post Consumer Brands Demand planners.
10.Assist Category Manager in development and delivery of category analysis and presentations.
11.Able to prioritize multiple tasks and develop solutions to complex problems.
12.Represents Post consumer Brands as primary contact on projects and customer needs.
•Education and Experience: 4 year college degree and/or minimum of 5 years in CPG sales &/or cross functional role.
•Previous Sales support positions (trade management, category management, and consumer marketing) are desirable.
•Requires demonstrated skills in leadership and selling skills, strong interpersonal skills and presentation skills.
•Must be effective at problem-solving (analysis, solution finding, and bringing resolution to a problem), communications (both written and oral), and self-management (set priorities, plan/organize own work, good at detail and follow through)
•Excellent working knowledge of Nielsen Syndicated data, Power Point, and Excel.
